After a hard fought battle, the score ended honors even at 0-0 between the Red Bulls and DC United. Despite the entertaining tie, the New York Red Bulls have won the Atlantic Cup by defeating DC in their season series this year. Earlier this season, the Red Bulls defeated DC 2-0 on the road. With the tie today, the Red Bulls now have the Atlantic Cup for the first time since 2003. The Atlantic Cup is an annual contest between the two rivals. There was a funny moment at the end when after Angel had his photo taken with the cup, there was a miscommunication with it's handling and was almost dropped as he gave it back to the handlers.
