Photos: New York Red Bulls vs. FC Dallas

The Red Bulls went into their second home game of the season with a 2-1-0 record and pulled out a win in a hard fought, close battle by a score of 2-1. There were many intense moments which made for great photos. I will attempt to assemble some clips of the game in a short video when I get the chance, but for now, enjoy some stills of the game.

If you've read my last blog post, you may have noticed I've been taking pictures at Red Bull Arena. Since this is a photography and media blog, you're also probably wondering when I'm planning to show what photos I've taken. Well wait no longer...

MLS Match Day 360: Red Bull Arena

The grand opening of Red Bull Arena was a success. I got some great shots of the game which I'll post shortly. At no point did I think I would end up on the other end of someones lens though. I'm in the following video around the 1:10 mark. The cameraman who happened to catch me in the act was Jason Saghini, the Senior Video Producer of MLS Digital. The video is worth the watch, excellent coverage of the game that reads like a narrative. Kudos to you Jason.

Path to Red Bull Arena Video

This is a little piece of cinematic genius that I'd like to share. It involves a Red Bull New York player Jeremy Hall and your average soccer fan. Jeremy is working his tail off to be in the squad. The average fan takes a different "path" to get to Red Bull Arena. It's a double entendre in getting the word out that you can take the PATH train to get there, and that everyone has a different path to Red Bull Arena. It's very well produced and accomplishes its goal of increasing excitement for the Grand Opening of Red Bull Arena. Watch the video below. -F
