Photos: New York Red Bulls vs. NE Revolution

In epic fashion, the New York Red Bulls finished the regular season as the first place team in the East in the last game of the season. It was a tense game with a lot of physicality, but once Dane Richards hit the game winning goal from that spot he's shot and scored from many times this season, we knew we had it. We really just had to be sure in order to start celebrating though, and that's when Joel Lindpere came through as he's done all season, scoring the last goal to put the nail in the coffin. It seems fitting that the one who scored to open the stadium and start the regular season, would also get the last. The Red Bulls are already one leg deep into the playoffs leading 1-0 thanks to Lindpere as well, so here's to the beast from the east as he continues to be the teams MVP this season.

Let's also take this moment to also reflect on one of the best Metro captains we've ever had, as Juan Pablo Angel finishes his last regular season in a Red Bull uniform.

I'd now like to take you back to the good old days (2007 for everyone else), Angel's first season as a Red Bull.

Finally, here are some photos from the last game of the season.
